France • Start/finish: Castellane • Distance: 200 miles • Riding time: 5.5 hours • The sublime gorges route, extended to take in the (narrow and challenging) Route des Cretes on the north bank of the Gorges du Verdon, but running around Castellane to make it easy to have one base hotel and ride both this route and the next one.
