So much more than just a dash to the mountains, this week-long tour of France more-or-less avoids motorways, with memorable roads and sites to see on every day. It heads south through the Auvergne for a magical few days in among the peaks of the Pyrenees, before heading back to Calais through the Dordogne and Limousin.
