Start/finish: Calais • Duration: three days • Total distance: 440 miles 
 
A laid-back long-weekend in France. Short first and last days to allow for relaxed Eurotunnel crossings. The run out takes you through the Somme past many off the key WWI sites, then there's two nights in a base hotel with a loop of brilliant country roads, before another sensible ride back to the Eurotunnel. No motorway until the final half a mile to get into the terminal for the journey home. 
 
Every day of the tour contains suggested places for coffee and lunch stop, as well as scheduled fuel stops. The tour notes include hotel recommendations.
