Bragança Wilderness Loop

Northern Portugal • Start/finish: Braganca • Distance: 230 miles • 6.5 hours • Get in touch with your inner Ray Mears, with this route heading off through some of the wilder, less-populated parts of northern Portugal and neighbouring Spain. Don't worry – you don't have to catch and cook your own food, but in between the planned coffee/lunch stops there's miles of serenely empty wilderness.
